This is the new manta to getting great quality link backs to you website. But does it really work? In my opinion it does. How does it work and how do you do it?

Do a search in Google for the blogs which are relevant to your industry or website. You will find that all blogs let you leave your opinion or comments about the post. It usually has fields like Name, Email, URL and Comment. It is very important that you spend some time and read the actual post or discussion so that you can make some intelligent comments. Spamming in the comments field is a strict no no. Never ever do it. You will harm your site more than the benefit you get out of it. Therefore make it a point to read the actual post and make some intelligent comment. You are allowed to enter your website URL in the url field which will get you a back link once your comment is approved. Usually all posts are moderated and the owner of the post will go through your post and either Approve it, or Delete it. You will only get a link back when the post is approved. If your post gets marked as spam too many times, you may permanently get banned for that blog. For example, if you get marked as spam too many times in Word press blogs, they you site may permanently get banned and you will not be able to make comments on any Word press blogs. A very big disadvantage.  

Each link back that you get from a post like this is very valuable as each back link is like a vote for your website. The more back links you get the more votes for your site and increased link popularity. The number of back links you get is one of the most important factors that affect your search engine visibility and search engine ranking. Google will also look at the anchor text that links back to your site. So if your website has many link backs with the anchor text "web hosting company", then there is a fair chance that you will fare well in that particular keyword in the search engines. Of course a combination of other factors will also decide your actual position is search engine results.
